Shu-Tung Li to be Inducted Into The AIMBE College of Fellows

Collagen Matrix, Inc., the driving force in the design, development and manufacturing of collagen and mineral based medical devices for tissue repair and regeneration announced today that Shu-Tung Li, Ph.D., Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of the Company will be inducted by The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) into its College of Fellows.  Dr. Li was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for outstanding contributions to collagen technology with more than 25 collagen- and mineral-based implants on the market.

According to information supplied by AIMBE, the College of Fellows is comprised of the top two percent of medical and biological engineers in the country.  The most accomplished and distinguished engineering and medical school chairs, research directors, professors, innovators, and successful entrepreneurs comprise the College of Fellows.  Dr. Li will be inducted along with 160 colleagues at a formal induction ceremony, which will be held during AIMBE’s 25th Annual Meeting at the National Academy of Sciences Great Hall in Washington, DC on April 4, 2016.
